Arthas was the bad lich king-died before legion, the current lich king for this expansion is a dude called bolvar, he is not evil, and he is also not an important chara for legion

Explaining the lore would be long winded but think of the title ‘lich king’ as basically being leader of the scourge - there always has to be one and bolvar volunteers to fill the gap after Arthas (the previous lich king) is killed
