Islander was just salty, he couldn't beat the Undefeated King on the battlefield. Saber hadn't actually died in her time duro g Fate/Zero too, so she didn't get to fully accept the outcome of her rule.

Scatach is easily more overrated, same with J'eanne D'Arc.

It's true. Once she accepts that her Kingdom fell and undoing it all wouldn't make it right, she has a much better outlook on it, which is what the Feast of Kings was spotlighting. Saber during Fate/Zero hasn't quite died in her time, and she's only a Servant because she was granted her wish. Once she accepts her reign, she dies and in subsequent summonings, has the right perspective of it.

Haven't seen that much hype for Jeanne tho, not nearly on the level of Scathach/ Saber.

Yeah, but Iskandar isn't salty about losing to Saber. He admires her battle prowess, but feels sadness for her due to her belief and how she ruled.

Claiming that Iskandar was salty due to losing to saber is the most disingenious statement you could possibly make.

I'll concede that Saber is over marketed a lot, but as a character she's easily one of the best in Fate IMO. She actually has an internal conflict that informs her actions, she learns and deals with it, and then develops as a result. It's more than can be said for most characters in the series, easily.

To that I can agree. I suppose I am just biased in my views because of that reason that she is overmarketed, and gets a lot more attention than a lot of the other servants.

Though in FGO, Saber is thankfully not the main focus for the majority of the game.
I really liked Lancer Artoria, Camelot was really cool in general
