Delusion? No. If it were prime beard he absolutely could have done it. What do you think Whitebeard meant by "let's finish this?" Mihawk just isn't on the level of guys like Wb and Kaido hence why he submits to government orders lol

Dragon isn't a warlord. And you proved my point. The bisento Whitebeard uses is one of the 12 meitos.

If you switched that to a broadsword of similar quality then lol does Whitebeard not become the greatest swordsman? Its arbritary

Why does it matter if Dragon is a warlord or not? You say Oda doesn’t know how strong to make Mihawk and his title is meaningless because his bounty hasn’t been revealed. Do you apply your same logic to Dragon, yes or no?

I don’t understand your Whitebeard example. If you want to prove Mihawk’s title is false, then the correct way to go about it is to name a swordsman who is stronger than him and explain why, not change the weapon and fighting style of another character. Whitebeard is not a swordsman and doesn’t fight with a sword, so Whitebeard has nothing to do with Mihawk’s title.

Its entirely possible Oda doesn't know where to put Dragon on fhe power scale yes? But you do agree Mihawks title is arbritary right? Hence why its a non-title. Mihawk is only WSS because Kaido likes clubs and Whitebeard prefers a bisento.

Would the power structure of One Piece change if some characters hypothetically switched fighting styles or got some devil fruits? Yes it would, I agree with you on that.

But the key word is hypothetically, they won’t change fighting styles that they have been using their whole life. Which means you should just accept that Oda wants Mihawk to be above every other swordsman. Whitebeard and Kaido are not going to start using a sword so I don’t get what’s the point of discussing that hypothetical scenario.

Because it makes Mihawk impossible to scale. Gol D Roger used a sword and he is tied for WSM. Therefore Zoros goal theoretically should be the strongest man in the world just in case one of these dudes decides to use a different weapon. That being said, Luffy and Blackbeard seem different than Roger/Whitebeard and seem to rely on their DF more.

Nope Mihawk didn't specify he deemed himself as inferior, all he did was inferring he wished to test his power next to his in order to find out the gap between the two which doesn't necessarily equate to Mihawk being necessarily the weakest in that gap race.

No lol stop. Mihawk isn't even on par with Kaido. Zoro as good as called Kaido the toughest guy in the world in 997. That includes Mihawk lol

If Zoro thinks Kaido is the strongest guy in the world that means he's stronger than Mihawk. Not headcanon. Hard truth.
If Sengoku thinks PrimeBeard is strong enough to potentially solo MF that means he is tiers above Mihawk in power.
