Now it gets tricky. Is WB a swordsman since he is carrying a blade? Can BM or Fujitora be considered swordsman? Mihawk is the WSS and Zoro is running up for the title, both of them are pure swordsman, actually, at least imo, if you want to be the WSS you have to do it with your sword skills alone (haki included of course), but if you start to use df then that is no longer swordmanship. Or at least you can not get the title like that.

There's no substantial reason not to consider WB as a swordsman on paper given he possessed a supreme blade and used it regularly. Not sure what he would be missing differently I mean.

Yes, WB has a supreme blade just like Hawkeye but guess what, Hawkeye never once challenged him cos he knows what time it is.
