I'm not talking about conclusions that will never happen, but conclusions that have a 50% chance of happening by the end of the series.
Luffy: he turns out to be Joyboy, Sun God Nika's reincarnation, and his df fruit is some ancient weapon.
Reason: I'm okay with him being Joyboy, but him being every legend mentioned is too much destiny
Zoro: His fight with Mihawk is boring and Mihawk ends up being a bland final opponent for Zoro
Chopper: Never gets a full fledged fight
Robin: Gets captured by CP0 and the final war ends up being about her recovery
Franky: Never gets character development outside of fights. Doesn't meet Vegapunk or interact with Kuma, the man who protected the Sunny for two years
Brook: Narrator at the end of One Piece, buries all the straw hats and tells their tales
Reason: he saw all his friends die once, it'd be too cruel if he has to live through that again
Usopp: Sacrifices his life to achieve his dream
Reason: cop out by Oda and it wouldn't make sense if Oda kills Usopp but can't kill Kinemon and Kiku
