As Solis said, the 5 year rule was dropped to make the tournament more fun for everyone as far as choosing somgs goes

Well that is good because my choice is over a decade old. If I had to choose from only the past 5 years from my nation then I might have been forced to pick a good artist I know of like Hozier. That wouldn't have done at all.
