We know oda is fond of adjusting the powerlevel of characters to fit the current story so do you think he would do the same with buster call? Oda did not retcon Vice admirals to make them stronger so maybe BC would remain relative to its pre time skip showing

Aokiji was present for the 2nd Buster Call.

If they are just aimlessly destroying an island, then technically yes, unless someone can destroy all warships.

Note that a typical buster call is 10 warships and 5 VAs. This is 20 Warships (and 80 smaller ships), 9 VAs, an Admiral and Gorosei.

Idk why, but this post reminded me of Spandam accidentally calling a buster call.
That was some funny shit.

Anyway, Buster Call is basically the destruction of an area/island/people, so why would you change it? It's a pretty flexible concept that you can use from Enies Lobby level to Egghead level.
