We know that kaido is weakening and is reaching his limit. Luffy said he only had enough energy for one last gear 4, yet seemed to gain all his energy back after awakening. So do people think that when/if kaido awakens he will be back at full strength?, or remain in a weakened state?

I think Zoan awakening only boosts regeneration.

Nika-Nika fruit is simply an anomaly because of the drums of liberation.

First time it awakened it regenerated Luffy to 100%.

Then Luffy got tired and was quickly being drained he started looking old but recovered to 100% again with the drums of liberation.

It is probably gonna cost Luffy's lifespan.
