General & Others Would the Wano arch have been better with subplots?

What happened to "kaidos favourite island" that drake attacked? I think sub plots with other sub villians before facing Kaido would have been more satisfying. I would say egg island arch before kaido would have been better and heres why. We get to learn about the history and about the nikka nikka fruit before luffy awakening it in wano. Luffy fights an admiral like aramaki green bull with the other two worst gen would have prepared us better for their power ups. I always wanted a solo zoro story where he struggles, maybe in an island king controls. Queen was a huge disappointed maybe we need more of them

I think wano arch was both long and rushed at the same time not what we expected from luffy vs yonko

200%, that's my biggest gripe with Wano and especially Onigashima. Characters are running around with very loose ideas of what they should be doing, what's an ambush assassination scheme ends up looking like drunkards at a bar fighting each other.

Subplots, things for side characters to focus on and effect the plot with, is what made prior arcs (Enies Lobby, Alabasta, even Dressrosa) very entertaining and engaging.
