Future Events Would you drop the manga?

To be fair...You have to have a very high IQ to understand Hunter X Hunter. The theming is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of post modern philosophy, most of the character arcs will go over a typical viewer’s head. There’s also Gon’s unique outlook on morality, which is deftly woven into his characterization - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Kant's Groundwork of the Metaphysic of Morals, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these characters and battles, to realize that they’re not just epic or cool- they say something deep about LIFE in this rich, vibrant world Togashi has created. As a consequence you who dislike Hunter X Hunter truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the subtlety and drama in Killua overcoming his own hesitation and growing as a character by ripping his brother’s controlling needle out of his head, which itself is a brilliant parallel to the writings of Takuhan Soho. I’m smirking right now, just imagining one of you blockheaded neckbeards scratching your heads in confusion as Togashi’s genius unfolds itself on their computer screens. What fools… how I pity them :wellwell:
You have learnt well from your master Togashi:blush:

And yes, by the way, i DO have a Hunter x Hunter tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for the ladies’ eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they’re within 5 Transmutation Levels of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid 😎

No one will drop the manga for that. It’s just a theory.

what people would drop the manga for is if it happens... Hehehehe
I concur. The world is not over if ZKK does not happen. Zoro is still meant to surpass Mihawk, a man lying above yonko level, power level wise.

I would arguably consider to drop the manga if Zoro died somewhere somehow. But what are the odds for this to occur? Approximately 0 is the only answer that bears any glimpse of credible.

There may be better written shows out there. But Oda keeping his fans for 1000 chapters over 23 years is something I dont think those better written shows can do.
That reminds me, Current Simpsons is arguably worse than Current ONE PIECE. The writing honestly feels worse when most of the core writers long left the show and all characters just feel like caricatures are of themselves.

Now that’s an example of something I used to love and give the benefit of doubt, before realizing that it’s never going to get better.
