Personally, I think world building and character development is worth a few chapters. Of course, this can’t be done without the amount of chapters piling up but that’s how it goes.

I don’t want this arc to take long either, but at the same time I don’t want it to be rushed and end up being crappy. It just ends up being worse in the long run, especially in the future when people aren’t reading it weekly.

I think I would have actually rathered an arc on the Giants and their culture + history, see a top tier Giant, see the Straw Hats wear some viking drip, and even maybe show Big Mom get killed there… FINALLY GET A LORE DROP ABOUT THE ANCIENT GIANTS, WHO TF ARE THE YETI COOL BROTHERS, NUMBERS, RELATION WITH KAIDOS RACE, GIANTS IN THE MARINES, WHY THEIR SIZE IS SO VALUED WHEN WE ONLY SEE THEM BE FODDER
