Luffy used it once, and against Cracker of all people. I was expecting him to use it against Kaido but he didn’t, what’s the deal? He called it Tank Man: Stuffed Version, implying that there’s another version of it that doesn’t require him to be full of food. Did Oda just forget about it?

Right!? Oda even implied there was more than one version and Luffy could have done something to Katakuris and Vergos use of Armanent to create "hardened/solid rubber" and a stronger defense. Blockman maybe? Armadillo Man? Lmao.
Exactly! I expected Luffy to be rapidly swapping Gear 4 forms vs Kaido, especially when he said he can use G4 without the haki drain post awakening. Like how Chopper swaps forms easily and we know Luffy is a Zoan like him now too ofc.
I Love Gear 5 except the retcon of his DF but man, Oda dropped the ball with Gear 4. Luffy was smacking Kaido around without even touching him with Adv CoC. Now imagine King Kong Gun or the triple size King Kong Gun from Stampede with Adv CoC? Kong gatling? Kong organ? Whatever?
Ah well, it is what it is. Luffy might have a new version of Tankman with Gear 5. Something really comical and dumb, even more than the original and influenced by Gears 5 insanity ofc lol. Maybe he literally turns into a tank? Lmfao. I mean he has military weapon themed attacks!

Tbh, I’m waiting for other gears to be used while Luffy in G5 cuz then he would reach a whole new level since we only saw base form G5 with only one attack that works like G4(KKG) plus a giant form. Imagine how a whole G4 Bound man and snake man would look like in hand to hand combat!! Devastating to say the least.
