For whatever reason I decided to catch up with One Piece again. I stopped at the start of the boring arc of Elbaf (Yea it fucking happened and I was wrong, whatever, and no that wasn't the reason why I left)
Oda is pulling the most random things in Elbaf. People flexing against a sea stone chained devil fruit user like are we suppose to be impressed by God Knights or base Luffy hurting such weakened Loki?
Gaban vs Luffy/Zoro makes no sense at all(maybe he just wanted to see gear 5 but what a horrible plot for that).
Gaban apparently not using conqueror and negating the healing of God's Knights (maybe not the same level of the Gorosei?).
Gaban talking nonsense about Luffy, Zoro and Sanji not understanding haki, like what? Zoro still not knowing he has conqueror after Kings fight is fucking ridiculous like is not like Luffy seeing such ability for the first time being used by himself, he knows what conqueror is and what it does.
Oda having Gaban specifically saying he was the second strongest? Why not man it up and say he was the fucking strongest? Like back at Whiskey Peak Zoro and Luffy fought for the first place that pretty much means Sanji vs Zoro rivalry could also be for the first place as well. Is a men's thing to be the strongest and completely fits the monster trio.
Some of the God's knights powers are ridiculous boring. This whole summoning thing is ridiculous. The dream thing is ridiculous. The spike was is alright but... why invisible? and how it doesn't hurts the kids? And Imu possessing the God's Knights, knowing what they are thinking (or saying idk) and praising demons while they call themselves gods is all just... meh!
One Piece used to have a consistent power system until Wano. Since Egghead nothing makes sense anymore. And I'm talking about Power System not power levels/scaling. We have Devil Fruits with limitations and haki that could negate/ignore such powers. Now some Devil Fruits seems to be limitless and haki seems to not work or Oda simple does haki master users forget to use haki with their attacks.
Going back to Gaban words about haki to Luffy,Zoro and Sanji, it makes no fucking sense because they all spent 2 years training haki so they have enough knowledge of it. However if we never had the timeskip (which was completely unnecessary, the story would be a hell of lot better without it) then it would still be a stretch to say such thing after Wano but at least it would make a bit more of sense since they've just discovered haki in the New World and that would be probably much less than a year so far. Maybe just a month or two? Idk...
Oh and Imu turning everyone into demons? WTF!? Nothing makes sense anymore in One Piece. Why they do the stuff they do? The world needs to end? Again? Is that fucking cataclisma from Fire Force?
What else? Guess those are the main things I needed to spill it out. At least I recognize that Oda TOOK the critique of fans about Wano having almost none interactions between Strawhats. Egghead and Elbaf we have a lot more of those.
