BM’s ikoku is the same move Dorry and Brogy use. When she used it in WCI, I believe Luffy even mentioned it was the giants’ move.

Where did BM learn this?

While it’s possible she learned it in elbaf, wouldn’t make much sense as we didn’t see any giant use it during the BM flashback.

My theory? She learned it from Xebec. Xebec was a giant and he had a DF that could alter his size.

Either a paramecia or a mythical hito hito no mi.

Hence I think it’s possible that Xebec survived God Valley, is still in his prime(because giants age slowly), and is living a quiet retired life somewhere in Elbaf.

This is a nice opportunity but there is a problem.

Xebec having eaten the Yami-Yami means that Oda has to explain why WB, Garp, Sengoku etc did not react to Blackbeard’s powers. They would have instantly recognized it and the events would have turned out differently.

Therefore, I think the Oda probably gave him some other power (or maybe just haki mastery who knows).
