If you think 16 year olds are incapable of making babies, I know several mothers who went to high school with me that would beg to differ 
They are capable, just not in a normal shonen manga 
She is the only descendant of Kaido, ofc it makes sense for her to have this Haki since it was implied in MF that there is a possibility to inherit it from the bloodline.
And since BM had a son with it, the only daughter of Kaido was doomed to have it as well. And in this case she has the Adv one since Katakuri had another type of advanced Haki.
So there is nothing wrong here, perfectly logical.
