Yamato is not Oden, she isn't an ally along for the ride, she will become an offical member of the crew, hence she MUST fit into the dynamic not the other way around. The fact that some people think this 1050 chapter deep character will hold precedence over a fundamental dynamic shows how unaware people are of storytelling. The notion that she must reach the heights of Kaido are nonsensical since we have an example in Katakuri, who is just as special but who won't ever become as powerful as his mother, it's not a rule, but some are pretending that it is.
