You know what is weird? Pushing a random ass character that got introduced 80 chapters deep to the Sunny just because she's another carrot.
Ngl. I'm a little annoyed with the whole Yamato bandwagon and I went in with the hate too far but I don't give a fuck. I will oppose every idiot who thinks this character can make it to the sunny.

Let's say you have a 5 yo cousin visiting ur house. She/he takes ur favorite thing ( put something in here ) and starts to play with it or maybe even destroy it. What are you doing? Letting him/her play with it for the sake of having free time or beat the shit out of her or take it from her?
I think Kaido is just broken mentally with her whole Oden cosplay so he let her do it for the sake of his mental health which only will be ruined if he had to ask her each day to stop.

I don't expect it within the next couple chapters but there will be a time.
Yamato will more than likely have a role in the greater story than just Wano.
The most obvious is that they will help flesh Kaido out. Though the jump cover lead suggest they will be much more important than that. What needs to be resolved is their desire to be free from Onigashima, as well as wanting to sail under Luffy. Right now Yamato is with Momonosuke. This will be an opportunity to learn why they are attached to the Oden identity, and if Oden is just a symbol for freedom to them or something more.

I know inherited will is the main motive in One Piece but Oda went all the way with Oden's will thing to the point where it became annoying.
Inherited will in general is boring especially if you are a long-time reader and you are growing irl with the series.
