Speculations Yamato's role in the story

I really don’t think Yamato is comparable with someone like Kiku who referred to herself as female, despite previously being referred to as a brother, out of a dedicated lifestyle rooted in the heart, mind, and soul. I suppose a more comparable statement can be made in regards to Kawamatsu referring to himself as a kappa even though he used to be called a fishman.

Yamato doesn’t seem to be referring to herself as a male as a gender lifestyle choice, but out of desperation to keep Oden’s will alive in wanting to escape Kaido’s abuse and save Wano’s citizens, especially after it was made all the more difficult after Kaido shot Oden to his death. This combined with Luffy telling Yamato she can’t just copy Oden, along with her telling Luffy “Fine, you be Oden then.” very much inclines me to conclude that, and that it’s possible to be yourself while still keeping someone else’s will alive.
And even if she was "Trans" I would still refer to her as a woman just like I refer to Kiku as a man because you change your gender

Pretty sweet of Yamato to be challenging an Emperor for Luffy’s sake in light of Luffy giving her freedom. Even several of Big Mom’s children were intimidated by Big Mom, but Yamato doesn’t seem to be intimidated by Kaido at all here. It definitely has the makings of a strong friendship that could potentially develop between her and Luffy if it isn’t developing already.

Her not showing any fear probably stems from the fact that he is her father after all.

It's reminiscent of a teen fighting for independence against their parents :milaugh:

But I enjoyed the moment sooo much, I'm rooting for her a lot.

I think that’s still notable in light of what happened with Big Mom’s children. Even some of her eldest children seemed intimidated by her, whereas Yamato doesn’t seem intimidated at all despite how monstrous Kaido can also get.

Yamato only had one only purpose and that's all. Oda bringing leftists to read OP with all that bullshit of Yamato wanting to be Oden(social name) and people refering to her as a man(even Kaido which is very weird since he is suppose to be a bad father).

Yamato is only there because of SJW.

I get the impression the fruit being that of Wano’s guardian was mentioned so as to keep people guessing if Yamato will join the Straw Hats or not.

She has said twice she wants to leave wano........after kaido is defeated no reason for her to stay.......scabbards can protect momo and marines are already stretched in numbers because of warlords.......

You'd be surprised how I've ran across a few people who've seemed to convince themselves that she'll stay based on what Kaidou said, despite Yamato repeatedly saying she wants to leave and not knowing how exactly the fruit would force her to stay.
