Theory Yami yami no mi awakening can suck the happiness out of people

The Nika fruit’s awakening makes it the most ridiculous power. Nika is a goofy cartoon character and his powers bring joy and laughter to those around him.

The yami yami no mi is the most evil DF in history. It is probably the direct counter to the Nika fruit. Whereas the Nika fruit brings joy, the yami brings despair.

Hence I think the Yami awakening will be able to literally absorb the joy and happiness from those around Teach. Making him kind of like a dementor from Harry Potter, or Perona.

The only way you can stand up to him and fight him is if your haki is strong enough to prevent the yami from stealing your joy.

Also think this could be what puts Teach above Shanks and most other haki masters. Haki is willpower, but by stealing the happiness of others, Teach will deplete their willpower.

The Blackbeard Pirates and Beehive seems to be a funny place to be like any other place that the strawhats have liberated etc.

Hard to believe Teach would do this. That would be more of a world government thing to do.
