Oda got the Will of Deadbeat Dad going on too. Even doubled down on it with Shanks and Uta, but tried to swerve it by saying she's not his actual daughter too.

There is at least one thing for which I am very grateful to Banchina. She did not impose her opinion on Usopp, but at the same time tried to make sure that the boy had a positive impression of his father. She understood that she was going to die soon, and Usopp needed to be on good terms with his father, because otherwise he would be left all alone in this world. In addition, it was important that Usopp did not feel abandoned. Perhaps she understood the truth, or perhaps she sincerely believed in Yasopp. But she is definitely one of the best mothers because she really thought about her boy's future.
