Kaido implies that pirates always abandon each other. And it's implied that the Rocks abandoned Xebec. I can't imagine Newgate running away from Garling, Roger, and Garp. It must have been something greater than them.

I think Oda's og drafts had Zoro as a henchman of Buggy which implies he'd have turned on Buggy due to his distaste for his personality and joined Luffy instead. So..

So Whitebeard was bitch made? Interesting interesting. Honestly, Newgate-Rayleigh discussions need to be had. His hype is no different than Law/Kid getting hyped over Roronoa.

My only issue with this theory is that it implies too many characters would know about the existence of Imu. If Big Mom knew about Imu, does like, fucking Katakuri and pudding? Probably not, but it opens up the possibility, which is imo an issue

The world believes Garp killed him because that is the told story, the fact that Roger was involved is hidden. Garp is a part of the Marines and the Marines are a part of the World Government, there is no inconsistency here.

Garp doesn't talk about the God Valley incident because he protected Celestial Dragons and teamed up with Roger... the manga literally tells us this.

I dont think he is really dead either. I believe in BB three souls theory. One of the souls is Xebec
