General & Others You ever seen someone change their opinion in a One Piece debate?

For some time I was under the charm that WB was some crazy mfker.

During a discussion/semi debate with @Fleet Admiral Lee Hung 2 years ago if I recall, I realized how stupid and weird it was and basically agreed with Lee and proceed to trash WB.

Some may think that I gave up on a character because of the other user's opinion. Well if Wano never happened u might've been right. What Wano did to Whitebeard only proves that Lee came in clutch and brought me back to the senses:milaugh:

I actually didn't believe Zoro would fight Kaido until about the time he was going to the roof.

In a smaller sense, I recently realized that the Kaido flashback was actually better plotted than I thought.

And I'll take an L if I really feel strongly. So I think it happens

Changed my mind about Doflamingo (& subsequently the Warlords entirely) after looking at arguments coupled with most YCs failing to live upto expectations, mostly from @comrade , @Veku and @ShinmenTakezo

Changed my mind about what "Ryou" or Barrier COA is with regards to its application to swordsmanship after debating with @Garps tekkai

There might be more but these are the ones I remember off the top of my head.

Yes. Myself. Can't remember what exactly I changed.

The problem is how others make fun of you during debate that makes impossible for you to admit you are wrong even when you realize it.

And also you shouldn't expect anyone to change opinion after a debate. Most of the time it takes time for a new idea get into your head and change your opinion.

I did a lot of times. I keep my opinions flexible and change them in accordance with facts and new information. I even admit it when I was proven wrong. Our egos don't allow us to admit to being wrong because we feel defeated when we're wrong. But once you stop caring about being right/wrong, then it wouldn't be so hard to admit being wrong.

That's a bad influence as far as it concerns Doffy.
