Adore Luffy and Zoro as a chaotic duo, they’re hilariously similar in so many ways, there’s a sense of implicit trust and affection that’s very heartwarming. The extent of Zoro’s dedication, the way he constantly keeps his captain in check (the most notably example being Water 7) is what makes me respect him so much.
My fav dynamic is Doffy/Law (not a duo in the traditional sense) where there are also fascinating similarities and so many layers, a lot left unsaid. Completely different, more up my alley psychology-wise. It’s an interesting thing when you quote who you name your archenemy (“The weak don’t get to choose how they die.”).
