That panel does not state anything.

Zoro's panel is more about Yasu's monologue that no one could kill kaido since oden . Show Zoro in that given how close he became to yasuie .

Below panel is just narrator panel hyping kaido though kidd is shown in that panel it has no connection to be fair . Given latter we know he lost.
