the fact that oda never explained why zoro lost his eye is too big of a foreshadowing of what is to come.
zoro is literally by far the 2nd most popular character in OP, and you think Oda will make him lose an eye without explaining why.

There’s been no hint to Zoros eye having something special. In fact we recently got basically confirmation that Zoros merely missing an eye with Hyo mentioning how Ryuma was also a One Eyed Samurai
If Luffy returned from TS with only one eye and Oda didn't give us an explanation, I am sure oda will never explain it as something important in the future.

i dont think zoro fans care much if he remains one eye or not, they only care if it will lead to a possible PU.
in this case, the longer oda chooses not give an explanation, the more convenient he can use it as a PU excuse for zoro.
Omg are you all saying that Ryuma , Ushimaru AND Zoro ALL have THE SAME SCAR for literally no reason? IT'S 100 PERCENT a hereditary DNA ability otherwise it MAKES NO SENSE at all
Then human drill negg diff Luffy and sanji combine since zoro gap between Luffy+sanji combine is so big.you just afraid if zoro got another power up zoro would negg every single yonko or admiral or any top tier including Roger or whitebeard cause current nerf Zoro already negg current Eos Luffy+sanji.
