Wait...so after the « If you are a swordsman but not pursue actilvely to be the WSS, the WSS title does not apply to you », now we have « if You do not have a black blade but never try to turn your blade black, that does not mean that you could not turn it black ».
The length that some of you are willing to go...it’s amazing to me. Really.
And by the way I do not remember to read that Zoro was actively trying to turn Enma, or any blades, black. Therefore it will not happened because he tried but because he could.
The Zoro/Oden case is really interesting because we can see here why some people think that Oda is a bad powerscaller. I mean:
-Oda has created a super duper Chad named Oden
-He gave that super duper Chad a blade named Enma
-He gave that blade to Zoro and explained that except for Zoro and the super duper Chad Oden no one was able to tamed the blade
Quizz: What do you think Oda wanted to portray here?:
1/ Anyone with haki could tamed Enma, Zoro only happened to be the second
2/Zoro shared some similarities with the super duper Chad
3/ Leroy Jenkins
Next:
-Oda created a scene to explain that Zoro could turn Enma black, thing that the super duper Chad Oden never do.
-He even add that Zoro could make the blade gain a rank.
Quizz: What Oda tried to portray here?:
1/Turning a blade black mean nothing
2/Zoro has the potential to surpass Oden by doing something he never do
3/ Oden never try to turn the blade vlzck
4/ Leroy Jenkins
It is not that Oda is a bad powerscaller is that some of you refuse to acknowledge clear cut portrayal when it contradict your powerscaling.
None of the people saying that Zoro will not surpass Oden at the end of Wano gave a narrative or symbolic reason to it. It is all about their tier list as if somehow their tier list are above the narrative work of Oda. And then when proved wrong they will complain that Oda is bad at power scaling
