I still think that they both won't get any significant upgrade when fighting the Blackbeard Pirates since they are on equal ground now lol, like in Thriller Bark when they just defeated their opponents without any upgrade. This would keep the powerscaling consistent.
The next significant upgrade is when they fight the Admirals

Makes since to me. I think Vasco shot will fight Franky.both have been seen to be perverts. Shiryuu is primarily a swordsman. A swordsman so powerful he was seen as ALMOST equal to Magellan with his swordsmanship alone. Sanji does well against large opponents and his opponent is literally the island.
