Whitebeard used CoA and defeated Ace WHILE HE WAS ASLEEP. He used CoA because Ace is a logia yet Whitebeard beat him

Luffy used VoAT to talk to Momo and the Law pirates in a submarine WHILE HE WAS KNOCKED OUT IN THE OCEAN. Similarly, Luffy also used CoC to knock out some fodder after Kaido knocked him out in Act 1 Wano.

Zoro used CoO to sense an incoming attack WHILE HE WAS ASLEEP and seemingly moved to counter it while still asleep.

It’s unclear how exactly these people are seemingly conscious while asleep or knocked out but the only pattern I can find is that they are CoC users so I assume it’s got to do with CoC.

I always thought that CoC was able to enhance a capacity ( especially Big Mom scream that was clearly enhanced by CoC). In the same idea I think that CoC coating his rather CoC enhancing CoA rather than a nez Haki coating technic.
Therefore if i’m right, the idea that CoC user can enhance their CoO to be able never be surprised even while sleeping seems legit in my book. Maybe sole thing like that allow Shanks to disrupted other people CoO.

Basically, I think that Zoro is able coated himself in CoO.

The questions are: Ca one enhance every of his abilities or just a chosen few. If it is the second option how one make the choice to enhance those abilities rather than another ? And how the enhance CoC technic of different kind works between each others?

If Oda goes this way (even tho I doubt he will) he might give another layer to the fight in One Piece. The top tier fight would more complex but also more thrilling and this will diminish the power creep imo.

Me wanting Sanji to have CoC has nothing to do with Zoro. It's because it completes his self-worth character arc, makes him the only conqueror worthy in a family of conquerors that aren't conquerors, thus being poetic justice, you ignoramus. Not everything is about powescaling it's what makes a good story.

You all try to to say every thing Sanji specializes in combat wise, Zoro is better, no matter what it may be. Speed, CoO, kicks; is it a wonder people doubt something not indicated when it comes up, as people run around using it as ammo the first chance they get?

It would be shitty indeed. Zoro only has strength to offer, while Sanji has many abilities. To balance them, Sanji must have a strength gap with Zoro.
