Power needs to be activated to work through Ashura's drawing Zoro's demon spirit..
Swords have powers?.. Enma can pull CoA from the user and Kitetsu can channel the user's Demon Aura to create Ashura..
Oda always does this, dropping a piece of information and letting it go without explaining or putting emphasis on, it's nothing new..
Kitetsu literally means in Japanese, 鬼徹 Oni piercer, third Generation, there's history untold there.. Or the fact Ushimaru was a 3 sword style user too.. Lets use our brains for once..
