so what I'm saying is that Roger and WB were shown using barrier CoA on a sword. Zoro, while having strong CoA, does not have that yet.
I think he was just speaking metaphorically.
if he had barrier, I think Oda would have clearly shown it, like with Roger/WB

yeah look at the tendrils on Zoro's sword vs the tendrils on Roger's. Its a completely different level.
Hence I say, Zoro isn't advanced yet

We saw the black tendrils on Zoro’s blades in Dressrosa and in Wano.
This chapter proves that Zoro has advanced armement haki in contrary of Oden for example. Especially because in the manga only 3 characters have shown this :
-Roger
-Whitebeard
-Zoro
Two of them are bonafide top tiers, I wonder what it means regarding Zoro’s level
