Questions & Mysteries Zoro is becoming a demon

#1
What came first? The chicken or the egg? The answer has to be the chicken. Nature dictates something has to exist before it has the ability to procreate. But that doesnt mean the chicken was always "the chicken". Theory of Evolution by natural selection. Introduced by Charles Darwin & Alfred; the idea that something in nature, will go through a difficult test of survival, if lucky, come out reborn as something new. the strongest offspring always had the better chance at spreading their seed. "Survival of the fittest".

Joyboy likely just ate Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika, but we dont know exactly where devil fruits come from:

Is it possible that the first pirate, desired to be the "freest", became a devil fruit user or did the fruit just pops up in existence? Maybe there's an Erdtree that shit them out, and he randomly ate one. You would think Emeth, Zunesha would recognize Luffy as Joyboy, before his awakening... I guess hearing the drums is the cue to get off their ass.

If it isnt obvious, I think the mystery regarding the origin of devil fruits, also has a connection to the goat himself, Zoro. I think he's evolving, becoming a new devil, since he answered King question, after defeating him. His kingly ambition is to be the King of Hell. After gaining control of Enma, a sword that can cut through the bottom of Hell. I think its more than a superficial title

Did Zoro die, or was he reborn?

... becoming what you desire.

This is the smartest man in the world, 500 years ahead of the rest of the world, VegaPunk whose best guess on how devil fruits came to be.

Zoro desire is to be the strongest, where even death can't stop him from his goal. POV of the world, sees a demon. then add on the fact, he also shown using demonic supernatural abilities/skills. He's no ordinary swordsman.

Brook confirmed theres an afterlife where spirits go

Do you smell what Oda, is cooking?

I think it’s more sword related than devil fruit related. Tho there is a correlation with strong enough weapons having their own wills and abilities
I think they both play a role in understanding the mysteries of the world. Devil fruit, grade blades, black blades, must come from the desires of the creator.

Didn't @nik87 already pointed out the ashura being Manifestion of will / desire , which is roughly the Defination of how devil fruits spawned.
So Zoro basically has a DF power without one lol. That's what you call a strong " will ".

Don't be surprised if he goes down as a devil fruit after he dies as
Mythical fruit model Ashura.

Well Brook coming back from the afterlife confirms at least paramecia fruits are not technology I think,
Yeah learning about the conditions to replicate the fruit abilities, I would think it be more difficult to create in a lab, but Bonney does exist.

yeah I believe so, just adding my two cents. I think we’re getting closer to that reality. And if it’s true, Asura will go down as the first awaken devil fruit. lol

If it is up to me, the question of how Devil Fruits are created is a done deal, Vegapunk has explained it.
The only question is how they turn into edible fruits when the dreamer/previous user dies.
But we even saw that with one of the regular apples turning into a DF in Punk Hazzard:

Since chapter 2, Zoro has been called a Demon, "demon in human form"...
And since then, there have been more and more demonic powers in his repertoire.

The culmination being Demon God with 3 heads and six arms, as Kaku described it in EL.
Since it is a thing from chapter 2 onwards, Oda always intended to feed MC1 a DF while MC2 would will one into existence.
Note that Zoro has NOT eaten a Devil Fruit and this is a first timer ability, nobody else managed to desire this into reality.

I think this ties into the "Will of D". I think it means Will of Dream(er)s.
To have a Will of D means to have the willpower to manifest dreams into reality.

I don't think Zoro died and was reborn, I think that has yet to happen:

Yeah I always thought BB spoiled something here.

It’s funny he mentioned it’s a waste of time debating if god exist, when we have Zoro not believing in god. Seem to me he was alluding to the will of D.
interesting; I would think onigashima be the perfect location for Zoro rebirth, but the demon god being born that way fits thematically well with the story.
