Luffy unlocked his latent CoC 2 years before being able to make it flow and leak and use it to flow/coat on a attack.

That’s like saying Zoro has had Ryou since Timeskip that must mean Luffy must be better potential with CoA if he managed to learn the most advanced form of Ryou (Internal destruction) in just 1 day.

Another problem with thinking Zoro has better CoC is that Advanced Conquerors coating is almost identical to Ryou. Meaning technically Luffy just recently learned how to use CoC that way. So there’s no way for Luffy to have learnrd it earlier. Where as Zoro has known since he trained with Mihawk. All he really needed to do was unlock Conquerors Haki.

Correct and that's exactly why he can only use it for 5 minutes before dying to his own sword. If he uses it with Asura the time is probably shortened.
