Potential Shimotsuki lineage but more so if he is somehow related to moon I can see Oda trying to pull some cliche shit and making him end up with Hiyori. Cuz Kozuki moon something blah blah Zoro moon 2 pieces of the moon blah blah.
You get the idea.
But for the most part Zoro's lineage is my fear. I hope his parents are irrelevant east blue fodders.
I always thought that that Zoro’s three earrings was because he was just that passionate about the three sword style. I like how this theory is more interesting than mine.
Idk if it's true but I heard (dunno whether it was a theory or databook or sbs) that they each signify the mastering of sword styles
1 earring = mastered 1 sword style
2 earrings = also mastered 2 sword style
3 earrings = making and also mastering 3 swordstylr
Oh nice catch!
Didn't notice It.
Well, It does make sense, he's probably a descendant of them.
So Zoro not only has to thanks his lineage with Ryuma, but also the one with the people of the moon.
Oh god, no! The appeal of Zoro is of an ordinary man pushing himself beyond his limits through sheer willpower. Don't want any lineage, prophesies or destiny BS to ruin that shit fgs.
There is only inherent talent and hard work. Shouldn't really matter that he's a direct descendent. It's not like he's magically powerful because of it.

I think at least one of his parents was an East Blue fodder, but the other one might be from a Shimotsuki branch family (not main family like Kuina) or from the family of Shimotsuki retainers.
