I don’t think clothes count
While yes clothes technically aren’t part of your body this is a manga. So yeah

A swordsman coating their sword in haki and Luffy coating his sandals in haki are the exact same thing, as expected you tried to find an excuse

A swordsman coating their sword in haki and Luffy coating his sandals in haki are the exact same thing, as expected you tried to find an excuse

Because while smokers clothes get effected that’s more so because it’s a manga and not because he’s actually making his clothes smoke

So Luffy hardened his sandals because "it's a manga", that's your reasoning? You've got literally nothing buddy, you're just grasping at straws.

He taught Luffy something Luffy didn't know at that point, problem is that Luffy already demonstrated that he can coat things that aren't his body, so the only explanation is that coating things that aren't your body isn't barrier haki.

We can clearly see Kin’emon and Kiku damaging Kaido when RAIZO CANNOT

In fact later on we see every scabbards BUT raizo do it… We see Denjiro do it, Kawamatsu, and Nekomamushi… Even fucking Izo with his “slicing bullets” can cut Kaido

The only scabbard who never cuts Kaido is Raizo… yet Raizo HAS ODEN’S WILL

Why is ODEN’s Will Not letting Raizo cut Kaido?
