Just leave the "Zoro advocate" mode and be honest with this, attacking someone when he's fighting someone else is not the same as fighting that someone 1 vs 1.
It's impressive if you manage to dodge in spite of fighting someone else, but it does not indicate that you would be unable to in proper 1 vs 1 fight.
That's the whole reason Oda had Apoo fight X Drake while that happened.
Oda is in control here, he could have made it so that it was a clean 1 vs 1, but he did not want to draw it that way, and that means something.
