While I agree that Momo was easily one of the most important people in Onigashima, to be fair they had Hiyori as backup. If Momo died but the alliance still managed to defeat Kaido, there would still be a Kozuki ready to take the throne

While id love for hiyori to have any initiative, relevance, importance, etc.
She sadly isn't in anyway comparable to how important momo is made out to be
Being the future greatest shogun, voice of all things, zunisha, etc.

Hiyori becoming shogun would have been dope tho

Well to be fair we don't know if Hiyori doesn't have voice of all things. But yeah she didn't really have any relevance. Kinda makes me wonder why Oda spent so much time introducing her if she didn't end up adding anything to the story. Maybe he had some plans for her that he scrapped because Wano had already gone on for way longer than he wanted
Still though, in-story she was there as a backup for Momo. That's the whole reason why she didn't go to the future with him

Well it depends on who we're talking about here. To the people of Wano, Momo is way more important than Luffy, but to everyone outside of Wano's borders then the future pirate king obviously matters more than the ruler of some closed-off country. Or to use another example, Usopp saving Kinemon is way more important to Otsuru than Inu beating Jack

And there are still people who have the nerve to say that Zoro did nothing and that Sanji was more important :endthis:
