This thread makes no sense. CoC potency is strictly tied to level. Luffy is Yonko level (if not higher atm) and matches Kaido.
CoC "coating" is based on your ability to blast Haki. Luffy can obviously do internal destruction which is above Zoro.
So Zoro's "ACoC" has no criteria which is stronger than Luffy. Luffy can do coating better and his CoC has more potency.

If he can do it better why was his lightning trail in G4 shorter than a micro COCC?

Of course a clash between 2 advcoc will have more blacklighting but Zoro alone was able to leak is advcoc out of onigashima

Zoro levelled up to beat king who is not even CoC user and hadn't used any hardening or used only once or twice if I recall, let alone any advanced haki version. Somehow that is 'low diff' fight.

No CoC trail from the hand/weapon does determine power of the attack that's why Roger and Shanks trails are bigger than Kaidos.
It means how much CoC is being released.
Look at it that way
Small CoC release and King was tanking easily
Last CoC release and King lost his wing, his sword, his arm and possibly died
