What if Zorro was actually a Shimotsuki? And just like the others he also experiences terrible thing when he was a kid!

when ussopp was interviewing robin and robin told her childhood past there was a seen where nami and zorro had the similar face resemblance.

this got me thinking.. what if Zorro’s parents maybe his father was a Shimotutsuki? And Probably him and his parents was been hunted down by the Cipher Pol agents and Zorro survive somehow this is how he got from Dojo because probably Koushirou are his parents friend? And Roronoa was probably his mother’s last name, Zorro didnt hid his Shimotsuki last name but probably the WG hid Zorro’s real last name which is Shimotusuki for some reason..

this is also probably link to the death character when zorro almost died on onigashima! This death was probably the one that shomotsuki family see that when they defeat it they become stronger beings than ever.

just imagine if Zorro cutted this being and defeated it? What if just what if Zorro in his current form can cut through anything now? Even nothingness?

yeah its preety wierd theory but i think that being is actually connected to shimotsuki family, Zorro’s wants to cut through anything right? What if this is the being he had to face to be able to do that?

that time when Zorro faced him he was between the life and death and this being was from that plane, imagine to be able to defeat a being on that kind of dimension or plane and survive? What if Zorro’s being alive right now it means that somehow he defeated it and he gained a new powerup

there’s a chance that oden didnt had a chance to face it and thats just shows that zorro in his current form probably surpassed oden now. It means that even if Kaido comesback Zorro can defeat him now.

Its like how nen works on hxh but more brutal because before u beinh awakened after death u have to face a foe

So we know that part of the shimotsuki clan left wano and ended up in the village in the east blue that we've seen from zoros past since the old man who gave zoro his first 2 swords was Shimotsuki Kozaburo, the man who made Wado Ichimonji, Enma, and Ame no Habakiri. The samurai in wano also made comparisons between zoro and shimotsuki ushimaru, as well as shimotsuki ryuma including the fact that zoro looks like shimotsuki ushimaru.

I was expecting a reveal in wano tying zoro to the shimotsuki family but there was so much else going on at the end of the wano arc that now I'm going to expect oda to wait for any further zoro backstory until he has his rematch with mihawk.
