The Akatsuki Suppression arc really was just Shikamaru Shippuden lol. Kishi didn’t do a good job at hiding his favoritism for Shikamaru, the dude got more relevance and screen time than the rest of the Konoha 11 (minus Team 7) combined in Shippuden

Yeah thats true the Shikamaru Hidan ending was perfect, Kakashi, Chouji and Ino should have finished Kakuzu. It turned goofy with where Kakashi and Yamato basiacly playing baby sitter so he can land a rasenshuriken to train

Kakuzu's loss was pure bs, most experienced shinobi alive, thinking far ahead enough to counter even Shikamaru, but falls for a simple shadow clone maneuver from Nardo lmfao.
