Depends on your view of the deuteragonist. IMO Oda is taking the fairy tail approach where the SHP as a group are the deuteragonist and depending on the arc certain ones get highlighted more than others. Other than that I think buggy has also become a possible choice of that role as he always seems to appear and be heavily influential in most of the stories most pivotal moments and is set up as Luffys rival.

I'm not a frequent user of Worstgen, but I randomly stumbled on your review of my fancomic. Thanks so much for the feedback, I've been using it to improve my work as the fancomic continues. Just wanted to let you know that your feedback is both appreciated and used! I'm not seeking to completely replicate Oda, but your comments on the screentone usage, panelling, and line weight were all incredibly handy.
