I think I will need to make a real pedagogic post on narration because I see stuff.. some people need to understand what requires a story to be made and the probabilities for an author to have created X or X early, very early... or not early at all. That's three threads pending.. I'm losing motivation...

Regarding what you said about Shanks' haki in Wano being a concentrated attack requiring great focus, I can see it happening if he evolved such a technique specifically to counter Teach.

But if he could really pull BS like that Oda would've made GB confirm that his DF was being turned off via dialogue IMO.

Personally I still think he just used a massive CoC burst to warn Ryokugyu that he and his crew were there.

Also one more thing, I remember someone suggested that Ryokugyu shifted to his human form voluntarily because he thought the RHP was boutta ambush him.

Which would make sense, human form is smaller target + if his og character inspiration is being followed, his true power lies in his human form w/ sword.

So that's something too, let's see though. Nothing predictable when Admirals or Shanks are involved.

Redditors can't prove Shanks' sneak attack made Ryokugyu detransform, as he was going to anyways as he planned on leaving the island, a decision he made the moment he felt haki and realized he was being ambushed.

That's the tragedy of Agenda Piece, nobody considers context lol.

Especially on Reddit, where people will believe anything if it makes them feel correct and smart.
