Theory Theory Denjiro is... Koushirou

Hey Guys,

i mentioned this in another thread already and I guess its worth a whole thread, even if we get the answer maybe in the next chapters.

From chapter to chapter i wonder, how is it possible to connect Zoro to Wano, maybe including Kuina. The deeper we go into this arc, the more difficult it gets to include the Story part, but i guess 99% of the People were sure this arc would work around zoro and his history. Many People theorize here around his parents, but i guess they aren't important in any way for the Story, his real parents just doesnt matter. I also dont like the idea of fate for all characters. It always feels like that the characters doesnt earn what they achive, that all training and stuff doesnt matter, because to get all this was their fate anyway. Whatever, i lost my thread here.
Back to Zoro and Kuina. The connection for now was only foreshadowed in 2 ways, first the sword, which got stolen right now, and second in the jacket in Kuinas Dojo, which seems to have the same Symbol as the soldiers from Lord Oden.

And here is the clue. What if Denjiro is... Koushirou, the father of Kuina!?
He was wearing the jacket which has the same Symbol like Lord Odens soldiers, take a look:

So he has a connection to wano, no doubt. He also wears a pony tail as long as we know him. So my 2 anchors match so far. The next Point is his Age, it matches more or less the timeframe. Since kuina was 1 year older than zoro, she was around 2 years old, 20 years ago, when kaido attacked. It makes sense he fleed to save his daughter from Kaido and Orochi, after Oden gets defeated, but then, i guess he will come back to wano until the day. Also interesting would be the thought about Kuina, when she was only 2 years old at the accident, it is possible Kuina ist even his daughter and he only left Wano with her to safe her from Kaido. But that would be another theory.

So what do you think about that? What are your pros and contras for that? I am really interested to hear your opinion!

Koushiro wouldve had to comeback to Wano from East blue after his family had already left Wano 50+ years ago. Which I don't see being possible, unless he came and then left again.

Who said he left with his family? That’s your assumption he could have left afterwards

Because he more than likely wasn't even born in Wano. If you read Oda's sbs he said,

Apparently, a few decades ago a ship from Wano reached the East Blue. One of their descendants is a certain character everybody is familiar with. This might be featured later in the main story so I’m not going to say any more than that. It won’t be a main plot line or anything, it will just be a minor story.

if Koushiro was alive then, he would just say one of the people traveled there is a certain character everybody is familiar with. I mean it's a possibility he stayed behind, but I highly doubt somebody would leave their little child behind when leaving Wano.

Says what and who? Your argument is weak form the start. He explained haki to zoro just like hyo explained it to luffy and he has zoros sword . Case closed
That's because the master swordsman who taught Hyou haki like that was Koshiro's father.

Koshiro was born in east blue, as stated by vivre card.

It seems like the swordsman was Koshiros father, but Koushirou stayed in wano. That’s why is called now an „orphan“ in the flashback.
Vivre Cards lie, they did before and they do here.

Yeah, now it kinda makes sense. The appearance, and Denjiro seemed to have Wado as well.

Maybe Koshiro won't come but Zoro will inherit his will and replace him as a retainer.

I honestly didn't believe it, but it kinda is more possible now. Young Denjiro certainly does look like Koshiro. He also seemingly holds Wado Ichimonji. Timeline fits as well. Current Koshiro is 51. The flashback was 39years ago, which means Koshiro was 12 in that flashback and young Denjiro certainly look to be around that age.

The fact he is introduced as an orphan, with the link to Shimotsuki which turned out to be the name of the village Koshiro was introduced in also further hints to this. What i'm curious about though is what Oda is planning with Denjiro's dad if he was an orphan, as well as what would Oda be planning with Toki's profecy if Koshiro is currently in East Blue

It's definitely plausible, but after reading the chapter, and looking beyond just the appearance, I think Kyoshiro is the more likely option.

Maybe Koshiro won't come but Zoro will inherit his will and replace him as a retainer.
lol

When you put it like that, I hope Koshiro isn't Denjiro. Zoro should only be the follower of one man. And that man is Luffy.

I have similar thought of train right now but if koshiro is acting double agent serving as dojo master it doesnt make sense for him to hide. He should take part in rebelling against kaido it just doesnt make sense him training kids inn east blue and letting his friend suffer.

Also tokis prophecy will remain unfull fill. I just hope oda doesnt complicate things as already. We know denjiro is street hussler and carries same replica of a sword that wado ichimonji.
