EDIT: the other parts of Kaido's body are considered scales too so will concede that point but I still think the blue scale areas might be the toughest part of the body.

The Scabbards and Oden were only shown to cut Kaido's dragon/human skin/non blue scales, but not the scales themselves, so Zoro's feat is a first, unless someone can show me otherwise?

Killer also comments on how it managed to penetrate the 'scales'.

So please don't come with the 'He's only done what the Scabbards already did bla bla'



@Cinera feel free to add to the list of achievements if you haven't already.

Oden's feat is scarring Kaido and knocking him down. I'm not saying Zoro's is better, but Zoro's the first one to do it on panel.

Kaido's entire skin is scaly with that brutal durability. Not just where the scales appear to be drawn.

Luffy for example, never hit the scales region, but he in Udon's training says he needs to improve his haki to break Kaido's scales

Yeah it is an overlook achievement but it is a big achievement. This is why Oda dedicated a double spread to it.

Note that Killer complained about the said scales last chapter which is why he was impressed this chapter.
