yamato - have hopes for this character in future too.

Special mention - Tashigi, after alabasta I had high hopes that oda will make her to be an important character given she was put into complex situation and proper character development happened for her which was rare for one piece and can't think of anyone else who was given such writing.
But then, oda seems to have ditched the character completely.. or rather everyone
Bonney - Have hopes for her character too, I was already the interested in her character and the setup looks good too.
