Sanji have a special connection with the Scabbards. If Momo or the others are in danger then Sanji will come and rescue them. And King stated that if he kills Momo then the war is over for the Alliance and Sanji stop him from killing Momo so King will try to take revenge on him.

It is also true that nobody said he didn't dodge. But logic suggest he did, BM shouted him to dodge that attack and Kaido had a worried expression too in the next panel we have BM saying he had underestaimated him/them, the alternative is that Zoro monumentally missed (but nobody said that or mocked him) but that is very difficult since Zoro was very close to Kaido and his attack was big enough to slash a massive horn of Onigashima kilometers away and also Kaido was not a tontatta but a dragon just few meters away from Zoro. BM for sure wouldn't say they were undervalued if Zoro wasn't even able to aim.

There's no mention or panel of kaido dodging
Oda won't offscreen or render such moment irrelevant.

If Kaido dodged, Zoro and co should be shocked
Especially when Kaido was laughing and wanted to test then, tanking their hits.

I cant believe people still thinks Sanji will fight king when Marco has been fighting him already

I can see Zoro stalling off Kaido for a bit until Luffy recover while Sanji will fight King or Queen 1v1 ONLY.

What if sanjis only fight this arc is a 2v1 fight against queen or even worse against pgone and zoro finishes and kills kaido after a 1v1 . Not asking will it happen. Just if it happens what will you do/feel?
