I am not sure about Big mum here. I still hope Katakuri will sometime confront her with taking over Big Mum pirates. For that, he needs to appear first. So i think this will happen then in Elbaf. But i think Kid will kill Kaido (i dont want to use the 3-letter-shortage here). Luffy and Kid will take down Kaido together, maybe with Law. And while Luffy wont kill any enemy, Kid will take the step Luffy isnt willing to go.
Thats why he said he wants Kaidos Head on his ship.

Big Mom was portrayed to be taken out by Luffy since the Fishman Island times guys. Katakuri himself predicted one day Luffy would do the job, specially by returning on WCI however. I still cant understand that.

I mean, if Kaido is beaten and unconcious, maybe near death, Zoro will be absolutely able to kill Kaido physically. But at best will, i cant imagine Zoro going for it when Luffy refuses to. Zoro knows the character of Luffy and Luffys decisions are the decisions of the crew. So Zoro is taking Luffys decision. Overgoing Luffys decision to not do the killing blow comes close to a betrayal against his captain, something Zoro would never do.

Big Mom won't die or have her story end in Wano arc, and it's certainely not Kid who'll kill her anyway.
His beef is with Kaido and the best he will inflict on Kaido is to help Luffy beat him.
