Also according to backlog sales of Kimetsu no Yaiba it looks like it'll be the #1 most sold manga for 2019.

Obviously One Piece still sells the most per volume but the anime gave Yaiba such a boost for old volume sales that it'll have the most total sales.

It's just from my guesstimate about this week's Shoseki rankings + the annual sales numbers that we know so far.

If my estimate is accurate (I think it will be, I've been following the sales for a long time) I think Yaiba has more than a 90% chance of being the top overall sold this year.

Not that I really care tbh, to me the most popular manga is the one that sells most per volume anyway. I just thought it's interesting how big the anime boost was for old volume sales.
