The issue is that Oda does that because he assumes "those two are strong, so when this thing happen to them.. it shows the danger from XXX person"
The problem is that the MORE you use the same character for the SAME outcome, they lose credibility by many fans...
Thus, it does not become as effective as it should... meaning, people now are at a point where they do not even consider beating Sanji or Smoker as impressive feat... it became so normal and no hype anymore!
And that's why I criticize Oda can he should shuffle and change the hype tools for different arcs, and not stick with Sanji or Smoker alone

Not sure why people are upset about Robin/Brook teaming up against Black Maria. She's likely stronger than the 2 kids and it even looks like Nami/Usopp are teaming up for just Ulti at this point since P1 isn't doing shit.
1v1 doesn't have to be an indication of neither character getting great action shots or feats performed. I always thought Franky was stronger anyway and Jinbe clearly is on another level too. To have them team up against presumably the 3rd strongest F5 member makes sense

Brook is facing different character, if you're expecting a tag team on Black Maria, you're setting yourself for a disappointment... all SH memeber will get their 1 vs 1 this arc
except MAYBE Nami and Usopp will be 2 vs 2 or later becomes 1 vs 1... either way, NO 2 vs 1 in any of their fight, except for Kaido and Big Mom
