The word Oden uses is お父貴 (Ojiki), which translates to uncle. It's the first time I've ever encountered the word and after looking it up in the dictionary, the only reference I could find, states that it's a respectful way of calling an uncle you're intimate/familiar with. It has the Kanji for uncle in it so, I think it does hint at a blood relation between Oden and Yasuie. @EtenBoby@Den_Den_Mushi@Leo what do y'all think?
You think Yonko Veterans would lose easily to Pig God? Don't see that possible especially Page One is strong to destroy an town on his own like Drake without much try. Not much to go off for it. Usually NW creatures are no good once you learn Haki.
The phrase "Started from the bottom no we here" fits so perfectly with Orochi given his social standing 41 years ago and his social standing now. He's a snake no doubt, but gotta respect the man's hustle and give him props for his smarts as I doubt the title of Shogun just fell onto his laps without him working for it.

Yep, imo Orochi is a very good villain, scheming and totally two-faced. He's intellectual good enough to make good strategies.
Sure, at the end, he totally sucks as a fighter but how does that even matters if he's literally the brain of Kaido? Lol.
The more chapters the more Orochi seems to be the villain and Kaido the muscle...like seriously...everything seems to be revolving around Orochi somehow

I think that his family was a noble one but that after a rivalry with the Kozuki clan they fell out of power and lost all their riches and influence making him extremely envious and ressentful of the Kozuki and Yasuie.
Of course that much is implied, but he grasped the opportunity to use Kaidou to usurp the throne. Not really sure whether he was the one who lured Kaidou to wano or if he just took advantage of the situation and got on Kaidou's good side when Kaidou touched down on Wano but still the man put in work. Not to mention a lot of the wano folk think of him as a hero and Oden and the Kouzuki traitors, so it must have been an elaborate plan and if you think he could have planned it all starting with having Yasuie take him in as a maid, it's pretty impressive imo.
