He likes Kinemon who begged them for an alliance.
Luffy can't solo a yonko yet so his strength is also needed.

He is also linked to Orochi's but his strength isn't needed to defeat that fodder and his men.

So the answer is yes. He is more legitimate than any other SN aside from Luffy (and Law).

Yeah Oda sometimes says some shit and then does the opposite or forgot what he said or did before.
I do think Luffy can move but prefer to rely on Zoro to recover faster (sucks for Zoro that he has to carry the guy though), but he didn't let himself get eaten, he simply didn't see it coming.

Off topic, I think the idea of haki being finite is stupid, or at least if you use too much of CoA why the hell is it affecting your CoO? They are 2 different type of haki.

CoO is about peace of mind right and if overuse of CoA is stressing Luffys body, it would also effect his peace of mind.

That said Luffys Raw CoA reserves seems lower than Zoros. Because Zoro overused his Haki with Enma but was fine

For the first one, yes. Zoro is necessary in the rooftop because of Enma and being the right hand man of Luffy. For the latter, Marco would obviously be a better supporter than Zoro because of his healing ability. He's also very fast so if Luffy's about to get eaten by Kaido, Marco would just scoop in and yeet Luffy out.

Well tbh if he would stay in the background and just use his teleportation, I think they would actually win comfortably.

And you don't need Armament in order to necessary hurt Kaido, you just need to counter Kaido's scales and you will be fine.
